Croatian philosopher, writer, translator and publicist from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Dr. Nino Raspudić started his secondary school in the native Mostar and finished it in Treviso, Italy. He graduated in Philosophy and Italian Language and Literature in 1999 at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb and got his master’s degree in 2004. He got his PhD in 2008 with the theme „Croat images in Italian Literature from the Enlightenment to the present“. He is a scientific novice at the Department of Italian Literature since 2000. He is translator from Italian language literature and theory and publishing literary criticism and essays. As a social commentator, he is often present in the media. Currently he is a columnist for „Večernji list“, writes for the Banja Luka’s „Independent Newspaper“ and is one of the broadcast editors of Sarajevo’s OBN television. He is a docent at the Department of Italian Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb and the Study of Italian Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Mostar.
